“Ritlite”
- a spectacular Medieval fortress
It is one of the most remarkable Medieval monuments in the region, where the spirit of the dangerous and strenuous times of the 12th, 13th and 14th centuries could still be sensed. In the midst of the sheer cliffs of the natural phenomenon “Ritlite” the foundations of the Medieval dwellings are still visible.
A
whole town existed at this place, which used the natural defense of the
unscalable cliffs. The access to the settlement was very difficult for
the way to it climbs the steep slope between the “Ritlite” cliffs.
The visitor suddenly turns out in a place where the time has stopped.
